2007 Policeman of the Year Hightstown Police Department
Whereas, each year, the Hightstown Police Department
chooses one of its members to receive the honor of Policeman of the Year; and
Whereas, during
2007, the efforts of all members of the Police Department were exemplary in initiating and assisting with the Department's
first National Night Out, the annual Toys for Kids Program, the Santa Claus and helpers program, the Borough's Community
Fair and Memorial Day Parade, the Santa Lighting Parade, the Hispanic Saints Day Parade and much more; and
Whereas,
even though the Borough is investigating the feasibility of contracting with East Windsor Township for police services, morale
in the Police Department remains high, and the men and women of the department continue to be proactive and maintain a consistently
positive attitude toward the Borough and its residents; and
Whereas, for these reasons, the
Policeman of the Year Award for 2007 has been conferred on all of the Department's members;
Now, Therefore,
Be It Proclaimed by Mayor and Council of the Borough of Hightstown that all members of the Borough of Hightstown
Police Department are hereby recognized as 2007 Policemen of the Year and are commended for their professionalism,dedication
to law enforcement and committed service to the Borough of Hightstown and its resdients.
